Any officer found to be compromising standard shall be subjected to a disciplinary action in line with the civil service rule.

It is an offence to refuse order from FPIS officer on fumigation and disinfestations matters. A defiance of that order will attract penalty or prosecution depending on the magnitude or severity of the offence.

Illegal operation of warehouse, smuggling of produce for intent to export, shall be liable to prosecution.

Warehouses: Any agent, transporter employee of an exporter having produce in his control shall be liable of an offence if he exposes such to rain, water, undue mixing of varieties.

A Store Manager : shall be liable to an offence if he defies the order of FPIS officer and produce comes in contact with floor, wall or exposed to heat. The penalty shall be de-licensing him from being the licensed warehouse manager.
